We’re generally not so good at doing family photographs, and we haven’t all been together for about a year-and-a-half so we’re even more out of practice but this one is pretty stellar don’t you think? Minus the slight blurriness. (Note to self: I know you hate using the flash but sometimes, just freaking turn it on! Especially when asking someone else to handle your rather complicated camera on manual mode with a fast lens that needs lots of practice to perfect focus! End of Note to self.)
All pictures taken at Christmas lunch at my brother’s in-laws’ place. Lots of laughs, presents, some wine and the. most. delicious. Pork Vindaloo and Coconut Rice I have ever eaten.
What a treat for the rest of us -- to see loved ones whom we haven't set eyes on for many years!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, soft-lit pics! To avoid having to hand a "complicated" camera to someone else, invest in [beg, borrow or steal] a tripod!
Why was the machine in Manual exposure-mode? Why not Av? Manual focus, too? Use AF to set focus, then slide the lens-switch to M and the lens stays focused!
lovely day, lovely photos!
ReplyDeletemerry,merry Christmas to you, Tina!
