"We're going to the hospital," were the words that my dad woke me up with this morning.
Not exactly the first words you want to hear on a Sunday. Or on any day, for that matter!
My waking-up brain panicked slightly. Why do we need go to the hospital? WHAT HAPPENED?
Thankfully my dad put a stop to the silent panicking in my brain by explaining further. There was no need to panic. This was time to be excited! The baby was coming!

Baby! Baby is coming! The day we have all been eagerly waiting for for the last nine months. Baby of Arjun and D(inah), my brother and sister-in-law.
Just before we left the house, my brother called to tell us that it was a boy! I "YAY"-ed, passed on the news to my parents and then we hurried out of the house to go see the latest addition to the Nandi family.
By around 9am, we were at Manipal Hospital but didn't get to see D until about 10:30ish when they brought her out of the recovery room.
I didn't get to see the little stud-muffin until 2pm because he was being kept in the NICU for observation. Everybody else managed to get little glimpses of him before that but I had to wait... :/ It was so totally worth the wait, though. I mean, look at this face!! This face is worth waiting for. Any day.
Welcome to the world, Baby. You are so loved. We have loved you from the moment we knew of your existence. Way before your 2.75Kg self came screaming into the world this morning. We have been praying for your journey here. As you were being knit in your mama's womb. As your little body was being created from the blueprints of your parents' genes. You are so loved. As much as our human hearts can possibly love you. And infinitely by the God who wrote you into existence. Welcome to the world, you little handsome fellow, you little miracle, you little bundle of joy... and know this: you are so loved.
Congratulations, Dada and D :) So excited to see you grow into your new roles as parents. Love you!
